Basic Function and Responsibilities
The function of the Inside Sales Representative is to provide direct support to the Sales Manager in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers and products to ensure that the department can meet its growth targets. The Inside Sales Representative will function as a single point of contact to support the outside sales team, customer service, as well as customers through direct communication.
Responsible for building and maintaining tactical relationships with the outside sales team and customers as well as developing a firm knowledge of products and services offered by Chelsea to support the customer’s needs.
Responsible for working closely with Marketing Communications on projects, releases, bulletins, and the coordination of the samples and literature programs for the customers and the sales team.
This position is an introduction to customers, products and programs with the expectation that the individual will take over an outside sales territory in the future.
Inside Sales reports to the National Sales Manager.
· 2 years Sales inside/outside experience
· Marketing experience
· 4-year College Degree
· Working knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member
