Material Science
Chelsea Building Products has a proven history of developing products for a variety of applications in the building products industry.
From improving the base compound to specialty compounds, we are well equipped to meet any customer need. Chelsea partners with customers to create innovative building products in the marketplace, and a new generation of products that are more durable, energy-efficient and cost-effective than their predecessors. We have improved this process through precise formulations and compounding PVC and composite materials.
Our advances in material science enables us to develop formulations to produce cellular profiles for dozens of exterior applications, C CORE® composite reinforcements, composite window systems, rigid PVC and Everlast® Advanced Composite Siding.

With this in mind, Chelsea developed a durable composite reinforcement for vinyl windows and doors utilizing C CORE® material technology. This scientifically engineered PVC composite is more thermally efficient than metals, such as aluminum or steel. That same material science is used in our other products for strength and durability.
Another innovative solution attributed to Chelsea includes the inoview™ window system, our unique multi-hollow profiles that enhance the thermal, structural, water, air and sound performance with a clean, low-profile, classic appearance.

Extrusion Tooling Technology
Chelsea Building Products developed a state-of-the-art Tooling Center equipped with the latest precision manufacturing equipment and design technologies.
Driven by a talented team of designers and skilled toolmakers, we provide extrusion tooling for the production floor. This means that supporting the production floor is immediate, addressing any tooling-related issues, repairs or replacements quickly with no interruptions to production.
Decades of dedication and commitment has produced a vast inventory of tools that ranges from window and door profiles to the latest advancement of the Everlast® Advanced Composite Siding brand.
Color Solutions 
Did you know that we were one of the first extruders to offer colors for windows and doors other than white?
Beige, cocoa, and solid brown were added to complement our standard white offering. If you’re looking for a color outside of these offerings, we provide a durable, heat resistant lamination process to our fabricators to meet the color requirements of the market. Lamination options consist of interior and exterior color choices that are more durable than capstock, along with multiple wood-grain styles and finishes on the interior.
