Technical Service Rep:
Windows and Doors

Reports to: Technical Service Manager

Job Overview: 

The role of a Technical Service Representative is to support our window and door fabricators, focusing on best practices in manufacturing techniques that ensure the production of excellent quality products. A “hands-on” resource working directly with our valued customers. Managing and or supporting a manufacture start-up or upgrade to a new window or door system. A resource for technical information pertaining to our products processing, certification, and performance.  

Responsibilities: 

  • On-site travel to customers’ facilities.
  • Generate reports summarizing visits and developing an individual action plan to improve the process and quality of products.
  • Technical champion/liaison between our customers and CBP Sales and Engineering groups.
  • Assist in supporting documents and information to various hardware Vendors and equipment suppliers.
  • Assist in training fabricator employees on proper manufacturing of CBP systems.
  • Coordinate activities associated with customer start-up and or upgrades.   

Requirements: 

  • Experience or Learned knowledge in manufacturing processes.
  • Experience or Learned knowledge in manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of the window and door manufacturing industry is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Candidate should be receptive to traveling and be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Excellent communication and “people” skills – able to interact and work well in a one-on-one or group setting.
  • Problem solver.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Focused on the success of the team.
  • Not required but helpful: bilingual Spanish speaking.
