Packer/Material Specialist

 Job Summary

Chelsea Building Products, an industry leader in extrusion manufacturing, compound function, and building product development has immediate full-time opportunities available for entry level Packer/Material Specialist positions.

We are searching for Packers who are dependable individuals, quick-learners, flexible, and possess the willingness to work collaboratively with members of their work team.

Responsibilities include visually inspecting products and measuring product length to make sure the appropriate materials are being used. These individuals also ensure that all proper documentation is completed before finalizing the packing process in preparation for shipment.

The Packer/Materials Specialist position offers future promotional opportunities if performance warrants.

This is a direct hire . Medical, dental, life insurance, and 401k with match effective after 90 days of employment. Outstanding work environment based on teamwork and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Reliable transportation;
  • Ability to understand and follow-through with directions;
  • Capacity to accurately measure and read measurements;
  • Ability to perform basic math;
  • Good written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including working weekends on a bi-weekly basis;

Marketing Intern

 Job Summary

Chelsea Building Products, a prominent designer and manufacturer of building products, is now hiring a marketing intern. This position is designed to directly assist and work in collaboration with the Marketing Team on any and all projects, trade shows and day-to-day tasks. Some of these tasks may include: organizing data, administrating promotional programs, customer assistance, working with sales teams’ to promote products, tracking and updating customer marketing funds, writing/creating content to be published on behalf of the company, onboarding new customers, etc.

Applicant must be knowledgeable about social media. Confidence in Microsoft and Adobe software is essential for this position. The ability to organize, multi-task and successfully work under deadlines are required skills.

Position begins immediately.

 

Part-Time Laborer

Job Description

Chelsea Building Products, an industry leader in extrusion manufacturing, compound function, and building product development has immediate part-time opportunities available for entry-level Laborer positions.

We are searching for dependable individuals who are, quick-learners, flexible, and possess the willingness to work collaboratively with members of their work team.

The hours are flexible days or nights. Weekend or weekday work available.

Responsibilities include:

  • Following packing instructions and practices closely;
  • Visually inspecting products and measuring product length to make sure the appropriate materials are being used;
  • Ensuring that all proper documentation is completed before finalizing the packing process in preparation for shipment.

Maintenance Technician

 Job Summary

 The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a positive attitude, be coachable, and look for ways to improve job processes
  • Must be reliable and have good attendance and communication skills
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Understands basic principles of electricity
  • The Ideal candidate would be able to work day or night shift
  • Must be able to work a 12-hour shift following a 3-2-2 schedule
  • Familiar with 3-phase, 480v electricity is a plus
  • Electronic troubleshooting skills is a plus

Lamination Operator

 Job Description

  • Responsible for setup and operation of lamination machine with support staff of two employees
  • Execute production schedule
  • Responsible for quality control sampling

Qualifications

  • 2 plus years in manufacturing environment with machine operation experience
  • Excellent mechanical skills, good verbal and communication skills
  • Leadership experience a plus
  • Ability to read engineering prints and bill of materials
  • High school diploma minimum / 2-year technical school preferred
  • Ability to work in a team environment and flexible work hours (primary schedule second/afternoon shift)
  • PC skills / MS office preferred
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Machine training provided
  • Requiring minimal supervision

 

CNC Machinist

Job Description

Chelsea Building Products, an industry leader in extrusion manufacturing, compound function, and building product development has an immediate full time opportunity available for an experienced Machinist.

We are searching for a positive individual who possesses strong teamwork skills, flexibility, a willingness to learn, strong multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities include work piece and tool holder set up as well as efficient operation of Vertical CNC machining centers.

The ideal candidate will possess two or more of the following:

  • 1-2 years experience machining/tool & die making;
  • Ability to read and edit G-Code;
  • Previous wire EDM/CNC operation and programming experience;
  • Surface grinding experience;
  • Some formal apprenticeship training helpful.

  • Wire EDM/CNC operation and programming experience a plus

Designer / Drafter

 Job Description

Chelsea Building Products, an industry leader in extrusion manufacturing, compound function, and building product development has an immediate full-time opportunity available for an experienced Designer / Drafter.

We are searching for a positive individual who possesses strong teamwork skills, flexibility, a willingness to learn, strong multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work independently.

Job Duties:

  • Use Auto CAD software to create 2D drawings of new or replacement tooling
  • Create functional detailed drawings for the manufacturing process
  • Create Models of 2D drawings with Inventor software when needed
  • Communicate with manufacturing personnel and fine tuners about new and existing designs
  • Create BOM sheets using Excel prior to the completion for new designs
  • Modifications of existing CAD drawings and models based off of tooling changes
  • Research existing designs along with the modifications completed to the original designs to assist with future design changes
  • Communicate to the Tool Development Supervisor any raw material and or accessories that are needed for the manufacture of the tooling
  • Record job times in the proper time log
  • Communicate the completion of designs to the Tooling Manager, Manufacturing and tuning personnel
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
